OneJustice is delighted to welcome new Program Director Karin Wang to the team. Karin has had a long standing connection with OneJustice, first starting off in our Executive Fellowship program, and then serving as a board member. Karin is passionate about justice and equity and has long been committed to OneJustice’s mission.
Prior to joining OneJustice, Karin served as Executive Director of UCLA School of Law’s public interest law and policy program, where she taught and mentored students committed to using law as a tool for social change.
Over the course of her career, Karin has been a leader in the fight for civil rights. She began her legal career at Morrison & Foerster LLP in San Francisco, taking pro bono cases involving public benefits and hate crimes. Karin served as the long-time Vice President of Programs and Communications at Asian Pacific American Legal Center (now Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California) where she oversaw its impact litigation, legal services, policy advocacy, pro bono, and communications strategies. She also directed the organization’s immigrant rights project. Karin also worked for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where she launched its Los Angeles civil rights enforcement field office.
Welcome to the team, Karin.
