Values:

DRC values all forms of human diversity. We are committed to a culture of belonging where all people are welcome. To be effective advocates for all people with disabilities, we must address discrimination in all its forms, including the unique challenges faced by people who experience the intersection of multiple systems of discrimination.

DRC pledges to ensure diversity, equity, inclusion, and access in all we do by fostering a shared culture that promotes accepting, respecting, and valuing differences that include attributes such as age, race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, ability, language, family circumstances and cultural backgrounds.

Why you should consider joining this board:

DRC is the largest disability rights advocacy group in the nation, established by federal law to protect and advocate for Californians with disabilities. Last year, we assisted more than 24,000 individuals, and hundreds of thousands more benefited from our systems litigation, policy work, training, and publications.
