We provide legal and housing supportive services.
Under legal: foreclosure prevention, consumer debt, tenant rights, advance care planing, elder abuse restraining orders, guardianships, post-scam counseling.
Under housing: housing counseling for low income tenants, rental subsidy and HomeShare.

We are looking for dedicated advocates and directors who are eager to work collaboratively to further SAN’s mission.
We will prioritize applicants with a strong interest in supporting older adults.
We want SAN’s board to reflect the rich diversity of our community and are specifically interested in recruiting individuals who represent the following communities: BIPOC, LGBTQ+, people living with disabilities, people who speak English as a second language. All are welcome to apply!
We are specifically seeking: someone with an accountant/CPA background; legal professionals; someone with a housing background.
We especially encourage individuals who have enthusiasm for and experience with fundraising.
You must live or work in Stanislaus County.
Being on the SAN board is a great opportunity to:
● Learn about and advocate for legal aid services in the Central Valley;
● Bring awareness to the legal and housing issues facing older adults;
● Be a part of shaping our growing team of young legal and social professionals;
● Work collaboratively on improving and developing our nonprofit from the “business” side
