Director of Finance and Operations
Why I work at OneJustice:
I work at OneJustice because we get to collaborate with the amazing network of legal services nonprofits throughout the state, as well as attorneys who care about providing pro bono services to low-income Californians. Through these partnerships, we are able to make a big impact on Californians’ ability to access free legal services.
Before I entered the world of nonprofit operations and human resources, I supported OneJustice’s Healthy Nonprofits Program which provides nonprofit management trainings and consultations to legal services nonprofits in California. Before joining OneJustice, I worked at Asian & Pacific Islander Wellness Center where I coordinated a statewide training program for HIV service providers and helped fight HIV related stigma in the Asian & Pacific Islander community. My interest in nonprofit management started with my involvement at the Center for Asian American Media’s administration team. Outside of work, I previously served on the LGBT Advisory Committee for the City of San Francisco Human Rights Commission, which looks into prevalent discrimination issues affecting LGBT San Franciscans. I am a graduate of the OneJustice Executive Fellowship Program and have my B.A. from UC Berkeley.
I really love:
Dim sum and strategic board games, but not at the same time (that’s messy!).
