Why I work at OneJustice:

I work at OneJustice because I believe in empowering people and organizations that are helping close the social justice gap in the state of California and beyond. As a first generation Latina, my driving pillars have always been to expand people’s access to the resources they rightfully deserve and empower underserved communities. I feel confident about the impact that OneJustice is making through its programming and outreach efforts and now I strive to contribute in a meaningful way.

Professional Background:

My introduction into the legal aid sectors was through serving as a ProBono Clinic Coordinator in the Washington DC area for the Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs. During this time I learned about the direct impact that legal aid can have in a community with an overflowing need for legal advocacy. After graduating from Georgetown University with a degree in Government, I worked at a variety of startups and non-profits to develop innovative fundraising and communications strategies to ensure that organizations had the proper funding they needed to do the good work they sought out to do. I am excited to bring these diverse set of experiences to OneJustice and join the Development and Communications team!

I really love:

I have a big heart and many loves which include running, mindful mediation, hot yoga, watching baseball, and perfecting different coffee brewing techniques.
