Ariella Banner

Senior Staff Attorney*
Why I work at OneJustice:

At OneJustice, we are given the responsibility to explore and design innovative ways to increase access to legal services, whether it’s through ensuring travelers at LAX affected by the travel ban receive the advice they need to reunite with loved ones, or partnering with community organizations and law firms to organize a legal clinic at a local church to provide free services to 100 clinic participants.

Professional Background:

Before joining OneJustice, I volunteered as a pro bono attorney with Michigan Immigrant Rights Center and Michigan United and worked as an attorney with Lakeshore Legal Aid’s Counsel and Advocacy Law Line, as well as an associate with Hallahan & Associates, PC. I graduated from University of Michigan with an English Literature and Language degree and received my J.D. from Wayne State University. I am also a trained mediator and currently volunteer with Centinela Youth Services.

I really love:

Weekend road trips throughout California.
