Why I Work at OneJustice…
I work at OneJustice because I believe in individuals’ abilities to rise when given even a small measure of well-suited, well-timed help.
Imagine standing in front of a locked door. The door is unyielding, permanent, deflating. Someone hands you a key. You place the key, turn it and light pours in as the door cracks. All that was needed was the exact right tool, precisely shaped, to overcome an impassable obstacle.
OneJustice uses its knowledge and experience to define areas that transform lives, delivering support and resources to legal teams who place keys in the hands of individuals who need it.
More About Me…
I’m a former Teen Services Librarian. In that role, I planned and executed community events, such as a Dia de Los Muertos celebration. Additionally, I helped individuals find information on any subject – from a new medical diagnosis, to study materials for a citizenship test, to a fair price for a collector’s baseball bat. I was also paid to play laser tag, video games and to build robots out of legos.
I Really Love…
Spending time in nature with my family and, occasionally, with our ill-mannered Saint Bernard.
